Download TyphooN CyanogenMod 7 NAND Android RAM Zip ROM for HTC HD2

DarkStone SuperRAM is very famous on SD card Android. It is super fast as it loads whole Android system files into RAM compare to other normal builds which store at SD card. But SuperRAM on NAND Android build? Will that increase the loading speed? Let’s find out with TyphooN CyanogenMod 7 NAND Android RAM build. It is based on latest Android 2.3.2 Gingerbread and using Rafpigna v1.7 OC Kernel. By the way, A2SD+ was removed from base package since version 2. So you have to install optional add-on to enable A2SD+ function.

Personally, I cannot feel the difference between normal and RAM builds. Too bad that Quadrant benchmark does not work on Gingerbread, else at least some data can tell me. By the way, to enable A2SD+ function. Try to apply one of these CWM flashable A2SD+ zips ~ AdamG’s A2SD+ or MDJ’s A2SD+. (I did not test them)

  1. personal note: I’ve been following this build since v1.9 (superRAM) and it’s updated almost nightly. I’ve tried over 4 other builds but I find this the best for my use. Currently using v2.1.2 and the bootup time is slower than superRAM but the performance for normal use is similar. Don’t really know what else is different between the 2 versions but I read that there will be less space for app storage in SuperRAM. Wonder if that problem will be solved if A2SD is installed? don’t know. maybe i’ll try with the next version as i’m pretty happy with the way it’s working now.

    Not working:
Darktremor’s A2SD does not work with this so don’t bother trying. i’ve installed and used MDJ’s successfully.

Will need to install LED me know to fix led notification.

  2. Are you using the Standard or Advanced version of Quadrant? I haven’t tried this build personally, but I read on the xda-developers.com forum that people have been able to get the Advanced version to work on this build. Might be worth a try.

  3. hi,

After installing this version 2.3.1, I re-installed froyo jdms. I got stuck at boot up. I can’t get in android.
Any idea how I can fix this.

  4. Hi Jayce I have a quick question..I recently installed the ultimate droid rom released earlier last month im new to Nand and just wanted to try out this amazing new rom everything was well until I was forced to flash another rom when I changed one of the options and suddenly the letters wouldnt show on any of the settings menu or any other menu..I flashed the gaunner 1986 with sense but all of my apps that are in sd card dont want to load or show!!! WHAT CAN I DO to fix this or whats wrong?? or might I have to flash another Android one without sense..please help I have so many important apps I would love to use agian..

    • By the way the apps where installed while using the ultimate droid rom..thanxx I love your site its so much more understandable than the entire xda site.

    • Not sure this will work or not as I usually backup all my settings and apps before flashing another Android ROM. You can try to install back Ultimate Droid ROM. See your apps are coming back or not…

      • Thank you for responding..and yes I have installed ultimate Droid Rom once agian and for some reason the apps are still not showing at all?? even tho almost every single app I downloaded went straight to my sd card I dont know what to do now..

  5. And by the way if I ever have the need to flash another rom via nand and I would like to transfer my apps over with that new rom..how can I do this without losing my apps?? I understand quite a great deal when it comes to flashing almost anything on my hd2 but I have never been able to actually understand how to bring all my apps and settings etc over to another rom in conjunction..(like backing up my stuff) or what exactly is a partition on my sd card?? and why would I ever need to make a partition?? whats the use for it?? ive seen the videos but if u can please explain in a more comprehensive matter I would be grateful.. Thank you for being patient with me and understanding my slow learning curve..its well appreciated..
