HTC HD2 Unboxing (Malaysia Edition)

Finally, I got my HTC HD2 from SiS Distribution (M) Sdn. Bhd. at last after waiting for more than 1 month. HTC HD2 was out of stock at most of the places in Malaysia. I kept after my dealer every week and got response that still no stock from SiS Distribution (M) Sdn. Bhd. Come on, is the sales that good or this HTC HD2 has production yield issue? Okay, let’s other answer that. And I will unbox it now.

HTC HD2 and its battery

First impression after 2 days of usage… HTC HD2 is not as big as you think. I have no issue holding it with my small hands. Battery life is a little bit short but still enough for daily normal usage. Surf Internet experience with this little beast is great due to its big screen. But camera quality is still underperformed even with hotfix installed. Hmm… A detail HTC HD2 review will be coming soon. Still need more time to explore it.

    • Both of them have own advantages. HTC HD2 screen size is larger. So Internet surfing is great. But has little battery life.
iPhone has more apps and games. But no GPS app like Garmin Mobile XT that I want.
There are lot of articles mention about iPhone 3GS vs HTC HD2. Just google for it. 😉

  1. The fact that it has poor camera quality is neither here nor there unless that’t why you’re buying it for, and I would say that would be last on the list. Looks pretty good overall.

  2. Someday earlier the same version was released on India and now its Malaysia. HTC traveling the world very fast pace indeed. 🙂

  3. wil b getin my diz febuary frm Tmobile.. cant wait to start using. hve seen and i much more into it. beter dan berry and iphone.

    • Must be one of the software you installed is causing the problem. I have no ‘hang’ issue. Try to hard reset and have a fresh start. See the problem still occurs or not. Make sure you backup important stuff before hard reset. 😉

    • i hav owned hTC HD2 also. So far never hang…unless if u open so many apps and not close it proper. Otherwise u can install Chainfire Turbo app. to improve performance when u open games and apps. u can check this website, this guy have it and lots more apps and games for our beloved hTC HD2

    • Select the most frequent used applications platform. If Windows Mobile then HD2, Android then Desire (or Samsung Galaxy S). Or wait for Windows Phone 7 which will coming in next 2-3 months.
