XDA Developer, Faryaab created an Android 4.1 Jelly Bean ROM for Samsung Galaxy S3 from Galaxy Nexus Jelly Bean OTA. And it is using modified CM9 Kernel. One thing to take note. This is a very early build. So far on the first version that I tried. These functions are working ~ ADB, touchscreen, hardware acceleration, notification LED, cellular radio (but no audio so no calls), physical buttons, SMS, accelerometer and charging. There rest of the stuffs is not working like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, audio, camera, MTP, storage… Anyway, you can give it a try and have a feel of Android 4.1 Jelly Bean on Samsung Galaxy S3.
