Yes, another custom Amazon Kindle Fire ROM was released. It is HellFire Kindle CM7 ROM. And based on Android 2.3.7 Gingerbread which I prefer. Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich on Kindle Fire is still not perfect yet. And will be better when ICS kernel is fixed. Until then, I am sticking to Gingerbread ROM like CM7 on my Kindle Fire. How about you?
After updated Kindle Fire Bootloader FireFireFire to the latest version, I decided to upgrade TeamWin Recovery Project (TWRP) for Kindle Fire to latest version 2.1.1 too. I use ClockworkMod Recovery (CWM) on my other Android devices but use TWRP in Kindle Fire. Because TWRP was the first recovery for Kindle Fire. And it performs well and most Kindle Fire ROM developers support it too.
Yeah… Playing Metal Slug on my Android Phone. Of course, you can play other SNK NeoGeo games like King of Fighter and Samurai Shodown too. Thanks to NeoDroid ~ NeoGeo Emulator for Android devices. Err… Too bad that I cancelled the plan to get Asus Transformer Prime. Else I can play NeoGeo games on it now with joypad.
Yeah… I found the best video player for my Asus Eee PC 1215B netbook finally. My Asus Eee PC 1215B netbook is powered by AMD Fusion APU E450 CPU and Radeon HD 6320 GPU. It is just an entry level hardware. So it needs video player that optimised for its CPU and GPU. Can’t simple use any media player as the CPU is not powerful enough to handle 1080p Full HD videos. Luckily, I discovered media players that suitable for it. By the way, I usually watch TV series, movies, MV in MP4, MKV, RM and RMVB format. Most of them are 720p and some of them are 1080p. So these media players do not apply only for Asus Eee PC 1215B netbook but those netbook and HTPC that use AMD Fusion APU E450 CPU and Radeon HD 6320 GPU as well.
How can I forget KuWo Music Player (酷我音乐播放器) for Android? KuWo Music Box is one of my favourite music players on PC. You can download more than 1,000,000 songs, MV, lyrics from its song database for free. And it is available on Android Market for quite sometimes and I still don’t know about it at all. Too bad that MV feature is not available on Android version. And not even on tablet version too. Anyway, as least that I still can enjoy listen to the music with lyrics.
