Package Content & Design
SonicGear TWS6 comes well protected. You can find 2 speakers, 2 micro USB charging cables, AUX audio cable and user manual in the package. As usual, do go through the user manual to learn all its functions and features.

Build quality of SonicGear TWS6 is great for the price. Light in weight. Stylish and looking nice too. Perfect to put in your living room. Or anywhere you prefer all thanks to cordless design. Yup, no wire attached for sure.

MDF wood housing with nice texture is what you get. In addition, the metal speaker grill in front makes TWS6 look great as well.

At back, there are a small bass reflex port, AUX input, micro USB port, on/off switch, volume and playback buttons. Oh, don’t forget the tiny LED light indicator that light up when powered on and charging.

Performance Result
Outstanding Bluetooth range performance is what you get from SonicGear TWS6. Yes, it easily become the best among all my portable Bluetooth speakers. Passed the 10m Bluetooth range in straight sight line with no obstacle test with eyes closed. And almost up to 9m with obstacles like walls. You can separate both speaker far away to have even better true stereo effect too. Great for music playback no doubt. However, it has a flaw for those wish to use it to play games or watch movie. There is noticeable lag between video and audio – about 1 second delay. So you need to use AUX cable for games and movie.

Excellent battery performance. 36 hours of non-stop music playback on its 1500 mAh battery. That’s more than enough to last for a week on casual listening. As usual, tests were run on average room sound level. As for self-charging, it takes around 4 hours plus to fully charge. There is battery life indicator on Android and iOS devices by the way.

What make SonicGear TWS6 special? Yes, True Wireless Stereo (TWS) with a pair of them. You can enjoy actual left and right channel through each speaker. Not limited to mono sound anymore. And that’s the way music supposed to be played. Yes, it sounds great in TWS mode no doubt. By the way, you can use both of them on 2 devices separately in mono mode as well.

How is the sound quality? In short, you get smooth treble and slightly pumping bass. Treble is in control but no so bright in sound. Bass is here and there but not as powerful as dedicated subwoofer which is expected. As for loudness, it can go really loud to blast a big living room. No distortion even at higher volume. Overall, SonicGear TWS6 sounds decent for the price.

Conclusion
SonicGear TWS6 is a nice and stylish of TWS speakers no doubt. Light in weight and portable. And can place them almost anywhere you want. Enjoy your favourite music anyplace anytime… Interested? Do visit SonicGear Website for more information then.
