Yeah… I should post this article long time ago. HTC HD2 has lot of custom Android ROMs. But I don’t like most of the ringtones that come along. So how to create custom ringtones, alarms, and notification sounds for Android? The task is as simple as ABC by using Ringdroid. It is an Android application for editing and creating your own ringtones, alarms, and notification sounds. And supports MP3, AAC/MP4, WAV and 3GPP/AMR file formats.
Android 2.3 Gingerbread on HTC HD2 is not perfect yet. There are bugs flying around. But rest assures that they will be fixed by those great developers. So these bugs don’t stop you to try it, right? Yeah… JDMS v1.7 Ultimate is here. But in beta version, so do expect bugs flying around. So let’s pray all of them die soon. Okay, JDMS v1.7 Ultimate is based on Ultimate Droid 3.0 Beta which use Android 2.3.1 Gingerbread (GRH78) and Crawling r1 kernel with latest lights driver, smartass as default, no OC compiled by crawlingcity.
CyanogenMod 7 is everywhere… Here is another CyanogenMod 7 NAND Android A2SD+ Zip ROM from xda-developer, tyween ~ TyphooN CyanogenMod 7. It is updated with latest nightly to keep up with the latest fixes. So it is based on latest Android 2.3.2 Gingerbread and using Rafpigna v1.5 OC Kernel. By the way, I started to use MAGLDR v1.13 and ClockworkMod Recovery v1.3 from this build onward. But they should not be any different with previous version.
HTC HD2 is going to be phone of the year 2011 again. It came with Windows Mobile 6.5 in year 2009 and running Android 2.2 Froyo on SD card on year 2010. Just got NAND Android treatment last month. And here come Windows Phone 7 on HTC HD2. Who dare to say that 5 buttons’ HTC HD2 cannot support Windows Phone 7 now?
