It’s time to use Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich on Samsung Galaxy S II. So I will start to try out as much Android 4.0 ICS ROM for Samsung Galaxy S2 as possible. And find the best of them, starting with Criskelo Servan Team ICS ROM. CriskeloServanTEAM ICS V10 is the one that I tried. It is based on Android 4.0.3 XWLPD firmware. Installed with CF-Root for root access and deodexed. Pre-loaded with 3rd party ICS Launcher ~ Apex Launcher. And added lot of other goodies.
Download! Come on, download the latest beta Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich XXLPH Firmware for Samsung Galaxy S II now. Again, SamMobile leaked the engineering version of Android 4.0 ICS XXLPH Firmware for Samsung Galaxy S2. Rumour said that we can get official Samsung Galaxy S2 Android 4.0 ICS firmware on early March 2012. Woo… Really can’t wait for that to come. ICS lovers, don’t hold yourself and install latest ICS firmware now.
Any MIUI Fans here? It’s time for you to try out official Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich MIUI ROM on your Samsung Galaxy S II. Not the SDK port version that I mentioned last year. Finally, MIUI Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich ROM is available on Amazon Kindle Fire. However, it is an alpha version. So do expect bugs flying around here and there. And force close issue is a norm too.
XDA Developer, tytung has done a very well done job on bringing good ROM and GPS Libraries to HTC HD2. I tried his Froyo, Gingerbread and Ice Cream Sandwich ROM. And now he has Android HTC HD2 ROM based on CyanogenMod 9. This is the version that he is currently developing and supporting. So whoever love to use Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich ROM on HTC HD2 should try out this very ROM.
