It is based on the latest leaked XXKI4 test firmware (Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread). KitchenPro application is very useful and it is included in the ROM by default. You can use it to install custom boot animation, modem, kernel, widget / apps, font and mods. Do play around with it and make CheckROM RevolutionHD an even better ROM to match your needs.

CyanogenMod is my favorite ROM for HTC HD2. It is fast and light. If you want the latest Android build, CyanogenMod is the one for you. However, CyanogenMod is not ready for Samsung Galaxy S II yet because it is still in development stage. Not everything is working like Android Market is missing on nightly v16 (based on XXKG6 but loaded with Android 2.4.5 Gingerbread) which I tested. For those who are not familiar with CyanogenMod can give it a try to have a feel on it. Do visit CyanogenMod website to learn more.

Want Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich on Samsung Galaxy S II? I am sure that everyone want Android 4.0 ICS on Samsung Galaxy S2, including me. There is no Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich SDK port version for Samsung Galaxy S2 because developers failed to make the GPU drivers to work (at the moment). But you still can taste a bit of Ice Cream Sandwich on SGS2 now with Galnet MIUI ICS. Galnet MIUI ICS adds Ice Cream Sandwich framework into MIUI ROM. MoDaCo Custom ROM is based on official Samsung Galaxy S II ROM that either shipping or leaked. It was modified with optimisations, tweaks and complimentary additions that enhance the user experience. I took Gr5 vanilla edition for a test run. It is based on latest XXKH3 firmware, customised version of CF-Root and using own kernel with MoDaCo MCR optimisation scripts. And Samsung apps replaced by Google stock equivalents. Therefore, it is almost like AOSP Android ROM.
