Normal SD card Android development is slowing down after NAND Android and Windows Phone 7 came out. However, there is a way to run Android on SD card with NAND Android or Windows Phone 7 installed on your phone. It can be done with the help of SD MAGLDR Android ROM. Normal SD card Android cannot run on current MAGLDR without modification. However, most of the SD Android ROM chefs do not support it officially. And left only few that current still developing and supports it through SD MAGLDR method. Here are the top 3 SD MAGLDR Android ROMs that I tried based on CyanogenMod 7, HTC Desire Z and HTC Desire HD builds.
Yeah… A full version HTC Desire HD build for SD MAGLDR HTC HD2. dandiest’s build is able to flash as SD, MAGLDR and NAND. Not going to cover NAND build because it is not ClockworkMod Recovery Build and SD build as I am not using Windows Mobile 6.5 anymore. So left only SD MAGLDR method. This is a themed version which based on HTC Desire HD 1.72 build, Android 2.2.1 Froyo and using rafpigna 1.7 OC Kernel. This might be one of your best Android combo with Windows Phone 7.
Yeah… Here is another SD MAGLDR Android ROM ~ DL DesireZ. It is based on HTC Desire Z, Android 2.2.1 Froyo and using Tytung Kernel. And it supports landscape view ~ HTC Sense Rotatable Launcher which includes Music app, Weather app, FM Radio, HTC Contacts in landscape mode.
I tried DL DesireZ in SD MAGLDR format. Here is the NAND version with A2SD+ support. It is based on HTC Desire Z, Android 2.2.1 Froyo and using Tytung Kernel.
