Help, my Samsung Galaxy S II has boot loop issue after I installed custom firmware!!! Err… This is the first time that I faced boot loop issue on my Samsung Galaxy S2. Yes, right after I factory data reset the newly installed Lite’ning ROM v5.0. Seem like Lite’ning ROM v5.0 can’t survive factory data reset from phone and I tried to wipe data/factory reset and wipe cache partition with ClockworkMod Recovery also did not help. Reinstall Lite’ning ROM through Odin again also does not help to solve boot loop issue. No worry, here is the step by step guide to solve boot loop issue on Samsung Galaxy S2.

Thanks to XDA Developer, reflux21 for coming out a change log for the latest leaked official Samsung Galaxy S II XXKI3 firmware (Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread). As many ask the question ~ What is the new features in Samsung Galaxy S2 XXKI3 firmware? As far as I know, the 2 major one ~ battery life and sound quality were improved. Hey, my Logitech mouse is still working on USB OTG host. And you will see the blue over scroll glow.

It is easy to install firmware itself (through SD card), update patches, install mod, backup and restore. Note – install a new firmware will replace your existing firmware. Do a full system backup with CWM first if you wish to go back to the previous firmware.
