One of my favourites ~ Samsung SideSync has updated to version 3.0. And it does not limit to Samsung ATIV Windows PC anymore. Yes, all PC with Windows XP SP3 and above are supported. However, you need to have Samsung mobile devices with at least Android 4.4 KitKat in order to use SideSync 3.0. Err… My Galaxy S4 still not updated to Kitkat yet. Maybe this will be the reason to do so?
PPS TV is no longer the best free online video player to watch TV drama. Well, maybe it is still in China but not in other region because most of the best videos are not available here. Yup, you can’t watch Hong Kong TVB TV Series. And only certain US, Europe, China, Taiwan, Korea and Japan videos are available. Not a perfect one anymore. Luckily, there is a replacement for PPS TV now. 天天看 is the one. So far it is designed PC Windows only. Hopefully, Android and iOS versions will be available soon.
There are 2 types of ClockworkMod Nandroid backup format ~ original tar format and new dup format. Tar backup format is good to store another copy at other places like PC or cloud storage. On the other hand, dup format is good for incremental backup for saving disk space. Before Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, older version CWM Nandroid backup is stored at user disk space. But latest version is stored at system disk space where you can’t access it from PC anymore. So how to copy CWM Nandroid backup to PC on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean?
Want to use Samsung SideSync? Too bad, it is currently compatible with Samsung ATIV Book, Tab and One devices running Windows 8 only. Well, today is your lucky day. You can try out Phone Screen Sharing feature in Samsung SideSync on non Samsung PC. Yes, I manage to get Phone Screen Sharing installed on Windows 7 PC (64 bits) and work with Samsung Galaxy S4. No Auto backup and recharging & Keyboard and mouse sharing features though.
Hey guys, check out Samsung SideSync which can connect your mobile and PC. Something like AirDroid but much more advance. For the moment, Samsung SideSync can only connect Samsung smartphone and Samsung ATIV Windows PC. So that the big catch. I have Samsung Galaxy S4 but no ATIV PC.
