HTC HD2 is a great phone. You can run stock Windows Mobile 6.5 on it. Err… WinMo 6.5 is a little bit outdated. No worry, you can install custom ROMs like Android and Windows Phone 7. Personally, I don’t recommend WP7 unless you need to use a killer app only build for it (but I doubt that). So Android OS is the one that you should get. As expected, lot of ROM chefs started to release a new version of their ROM after Bluetooth battery drain was fixed. Tytung r8.2 Kernel is the first one that I found to include this Bluetooth battery drain fix patch. And Ultimate Droid 3.1.1 v3 is using this kernel. As usual, most of the latest ROMs are using Android 2.3.3 Gingerbread. Same apply to Ultimate Droid 3.1.1. By the way, this new version is using Perspicuus Theme by Dellacorte.
JDMS Ultimate v1.6 is the build that I am using daily. It is based on Ultimate Droid 2.5 Froyo edition. And Ultimate Droid 3 is based on Gingerbread.
