Which Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread ROM do you like?
hi jayce my samsung s2 is gingerbread 2.3.3 so can i install these rom thanks
I installed them. Why you cannot?
Jayce, I have a GT-I9100 fresh from the states (I’m in Turkey) and am thinking of upgrading to .5
However, I have not yet installed a MiniSD so am concerned about how smooth the change will go.
1. Most apps seem to take it for granted that the SD card is installed and apps are loaded from there instead of the /download directory. One of the problems with this is…
2. I want to do a backup first but Titanium also wants to backup to the SD instead of via USB cable to the PC.
3. I understand that the phone will not be rooted after the upgrade. I have not been able to locate a .5 kernel I can use after rooting the phone. Has one been published that I have not been able to find?
Have you any suggestions for making the upgrade smooth for me?
Sorry, I meant to ask about stable kernels rather than test kernels.

Thanks. Good info. I’ll wait until I throw in the SD card before I upgrade. Appreciate the quick response.
Would it delete all my save data and application uf i install this?
Yes, make backup first.
Some of your apps may not make it. I had to reload a few but the saved data was still here, i.e. that I normally save with Kies. I suggest you back up all before upgrading. Should go smoothly but for some apps. Just make sure you have a list of the apps you have installed, just in case…
Hi Jayce, would definitely recommend Criskelo ROM for 2.3.5 Its currently on v30. I use it with Siyah Kernel v2.2 beta4. FANTASTIC Battery life without compromising responsiveness.
I was going through your 2.3.4 list until I hit Criskelo v22. I haven’t ventured to another since.
Do you recommend me try any other ROMS ?
Thanks
