Package Content & Design
Everything comes well-protected. For accessories, there are 3.5mm AUX to RCA audio cable, IR remote control and user manual. As usual, go through the user manual to know more about Xenon 8.
Build quality is excellent for the price. Thanks to tough MDF cabinet for both subwoofer and satellite speakers. The front part is plastic by the way. Each satellite is equipped with 3″ driver with 12W output power (RMS). And the lower part is the RGB lights.
This is the 34W subwoofer. The 5.25″ bass driver is located on the right. Cover with fabric as you can see. Most of the stuff is located in the front. The control buttons, volume level and microphone input are there.
The reflex port, input, output and power switch are located at the back. External FM radio antenna is there too. As usual, please refer to all the photos for details.
Performance Result
Excellent wireless range. It can reach up to 8m with obstacles like wall. The connection is stable and it has virtually no lag between video and audio. Playing games on mobile devices is good to go. The same applies to watching music videos, TV dramas and movies.
FM radio is working great thanks to the external antenna. Great for those who still using FM for music listening. MP3 player is available on both USB port and SD slot. Working great too. Don’t forget the microphone input for karaoke. You can control mic volume and echo level too.
58w total power (RMS) is more than enough to blast in the large quiet room. Suitable for both PC and TV usage thanks to IR remote control. In addition, the lovely RGB lighting effects will level up your entertainment experience no doubt.
Sound Quality
Vinnfier Xenon 8 BTRM 2023 has treble and bass volume control. Therefore, you can have the sound signature that you prefer. Well, almost… Xenon 8 is a bright speaker out of the box. The treble is very sharp. Personally, lowered the treble level to the minimum. And almost max the bass level. It becomes V-shape 2.1 speaker system then. You can also adjust the EQ. 6 of them to choose but it is not available on AUX and FM. By the way, there is no standby mode and settings can’t be save after power off. Do take note…
In details, high is very crisp and sharp. You might need to lower the treble else might have harshness on certain songs. On the bright side, all the musical instruments can be heard clearly. Mids are getting the same treatment as well. The vocals are very clear too. Lows are deep and powerful. Yes, you can really feel the bass bumping here and there. Great for action movies and games indeed.
