Adreno 540 vs Adreno 506 (Snapdragon 835 vs Snapdragon 625)… Yup, most of the smartphones out there are using Qualcomm chipset nowadays including popular Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 (Redmi 5 Plus too), Xiaomi Mi 6 and OnePlus 5T that I own. Not a hardcore gamer here but does play games everyday. Casual 3D games like Clash Royale, Battle Boom. Adreno 506 GPU manages to play those smoothly. Can even play fast paced 3D games like Asphalt Xtreme: Rally Racing too. However, it starts to suffer on intensive 3D games like Modern Combat 5. And perform even worst on Honkai Impact 3.
