Gaming on Kindle Fire Review

As a hardcore gamer, the very first thing that I tried on my newly bought Amazon Kindle Fire ~ games. Lot of games testing… Kindle Fire is powered by 1 GHz Texas Instruments OMAP 4430 dual-core processor and 304 MHz PowerVR SGX540 GPU. Kindle Fire has 7″ multi-touch (2 points only) IPS screen with resolution 600×1024 px. Its IPS display really shines here (look better than iPad due to higher pixel density).

By the way, Kindle Fire is using the same SoC like Samsung Galaxy S II GT-I9100G model in Malaysia. Some SGS2 I9100G owners claim that PowerVR SGX540 GPU is better than SGS2 I9100 ARM Mali-400 MP GPU. Does PowerVR SGX540 GPU perform well in all 2D and 3G games? Let’s find out…
