Google’s latest most popular Android tablet ~ Nexus 7 (2013) faced the same issue as the previous generation. Yup, build quality issues. Lot of users reported that their new Nexus 7 has issues like dead pixel, LCD screen light bleed, erratic multi-touch, GPS lock, low speakers volume, random reboot, oddly coloured pixels, dust under LCD screen, creaking sound… Some can be fixed by factory reset. Some don’t. That’s the fate of earlier adopters. Did Asus lowers quality control in order to rush to market on time? Anyway, just exchange for a new one if face issues. Or send back to warranty claim since Nexus 7 has international warranty.
Oh no, my Google Nexus 7 has screen flickering issue. Guess that I am one of the lucky guys out there who face this Nexus 7 screen flickering issue. Actually, it is Nexus 7 display screen backlight that has issue. And this Nexus 7 screen flickering issue only happens when you have poor Wi-Fi signal (with active upload or download activities) and display brightness lower than 30%. I can easily see this issue because my old Wi-Fi router is still at IEEE 802.11g only (802.11n have better coverage range).
Woo… If the Left 4 Dead 2 crash fix solutions cannot help you solve the crash to desktop (CTD) issue, here is an unofficial patch that I found from China website. While waiting for the official patches to come out, why no try out the unofficial one. Just overwrite the files with the 7-Zip file. Enjoy the game…

Yes. I fixed VLC Player block Chinese subtitle srt issue finally. Thanks for my friend, CC. He told me to use another media player ~ MpcStar. MpcStar is a new for me. I am using VLC player to play MKV format video all the while. However, I faced VLC Player block Chinese subtitle srt mkv issue. I cannot enable the Chinese subtitle to work even using UTF-8, GB or BIG5. I gave up in the end. However, my hope to play mkv video with Chinese subtitle show up again after CC told me this MpcStar.
