Package Content
Pulsefire Haste Wireless arrived safely as usual. Once taken out the mouse, there are USB charge/data cable, USB wireless receiver, USB cable adapter, grip tape, extra PTFE skates, support info card and multi-language quick start guide.

Design & Build Quality
In short, Pulsefire Haste Wireless is just like Pulsefire Haste minus the cord. Therefore, you can enjoy the same solid plastic housing with ultra-light hex shell design. Excellent build quality too. Symmetrical shape that is suitable for both right and left-handed. Suitable for all grip types like fingertip, palm and claw styles. Same size as medium. So every button and scroll wheel can be accessed easily. It has 4 low-friction 100% PTFE skates at the bottom. Grip tapes can be installed for even more grip and control on the mouse. Do check out all the photos for detail.

Software
The very same useful software is there for you – HyperX NGENUITY. As usual, you can customize Pulsefire Haste Wireless easily. Or use the mouse directly without the software too. You can adjust a lot of stuff including DPI settings, RGB lighting, button assignments and record macros. One new thing was added – battery life indicator. Yes, you can check the wireless mouse charging percentage with the software.

Everything else is the same. You can set the lighting effect that you prefer – solid, cycle or breathing. As usual, triggered fade effect can be set too. The same applies to all the buttons – configurable. Besides the main left and right buttons, the rest 4 of the buttons can be assigned to whatever macro, mouse/keyboard function, multimedia and Windows shortcut that you want.

Polling rate is set as 1000HZ by default. You can select 125Hz, 250Hz and 500Hz too. Up to 5 DPI levels with minimum of 1 level. Set them from 200 to 16000 DPI. Once set up everything, the settings will be saved into the onboard memory. NGENUITY software is no longer needed then.

Performance Result
Ultra-lightweight and fast response! In addition, you won’t face any mouse cord resistance at all. That’s great! As I mentioned, HyperX Pulsefire Haste is my daily gaming mouse. And the new wireless model is even better. Performs just like wired. Fast and stable. As usual, it supports multiple surfaces including slightly shinny and reflective ones. Thanks to Pixart 3335 optical sensor of course. Again, the optical sensor is at the center of the mouse. So no learning curve is needed. The Lift Off Distance (LOD) is very low at 1 or 2mm. That’s great for FPS gaming indeed. Mouse pointer will stop to move once you lift up a bit.

You get the same ergonomic. The added 2g weight is virtually not noticeable. Fits perfectly well on my right hand as expected. Again, best for medium size hand. Thanks to durable TTC Golden micro dustproof switches, all the mouse buttons are responsive. Feedback is good too. Furthermore, the responsive split-button design helps to register button click no matter where you clicked on it. FYI, some of the mice will register the top part of the left and right buttons only. Again, not for Pulsefire Haste Wireless.

As expected, the scroll wheel has great grip and step control. I can change weapons correctly. And it is suitable for web scrolling as well. Smooth and fast. The side buttons are performing too. Easy access and do their job. By the way, the cable and USB cable adapter help to eliminate wireless interference from the USB HDD by placing near the mouse. Yup, no more such issues with them.
