Intel QX9650 info on CPU-Z
Take Intel Core2 Extreme quad-core processor QX9650 for example. You can see that the CPU is running at 2400 MHz with 400 MHz bus speed. This is the power saving feature of Intel Core2 Extreme quad-core processor QX9650 where it will lower CPU multiplier to x6 on low CPU usage. This will help to cool down the CPU. And it will go up to max CPU multiplier that you set when loaded with heavy CPU usage application.
Memory information provided by CPU-Z is also useful. You can find out the memory speed and timing. I will come back on memory more after manage to tweak the memory to the next level of speed.
it’s very useful for those wanting to overclock their PCs, there’s also “System info for windows” which i use to get information about almost everything else on the PC including software information, try it out at System info for windows.
thnx for the post btw
NIce! THX for sharing…
@max, @James Chu: You are welcome.
Well I am just saying that grats on getting your hands on that free processor from Intel. Being an Intel employee certain has advantages
@prasys: Hehe… Intel is a great place to work for sure.
…I totally agree with Jayce, Intel is a great place to work.
Btw, have you try GPU-Z?
@Wing Loon: Yup. Using GPU-Z currently. A nice tool to trace your GPU temp and fan speed.
[...] Temp is another program to monitor CPU temperature like CPU-Z and SpeedFan. Core Temp is a simple software that tells your CPU information and temperature. You [...]
