How to watch Hong Kong, Taiwan TV drama on PPS for Android and iOS? In short, you need China IP address on your Android devices, iPhone and iPad.   1. Go to Settings.
  2. Select Wi-Fi.
  3. Hold on your connected Wi-Fi router until a window pop-up.
  4. Select Modify network then.
  5. Check Show advanced options.
  6. Select Manual in Proxy settings.
  7. Key in Proxy hostname with proxy server IP (like mine – 122.72.80.106).
  8. Then enter Proxy port (like mine – 80).
  9. Select Save.
  10. Launch PPS.
  11. That’s all.

How to watch Hong Kong, Taiwan TV series on PPS for iOS (iPhone & iPad)?

  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Select Wi-Fi.
  3. Click on the right arrow of your connected network.
  4. At HTTP Proxy, select Manual.
  5. Enter Server with proxy server IP (like mine – 122.72.80.106).
  6. Enter port (like mine – 80).
  7. Launch PPS.
  8. That’s all.

    i am using wifi in my office. if i change the setting, does it effect to my office’s wifi? does it also effect others?

      • Hi… I’m rather dump in these applications but I need to know if I use my office WIFI and change the IP address, can the office detect the change? Another question, if I change my home WIFI address can others still use the WIFI and any extra charges? Or if I use the “YES” mobile router can I change it?

        • Yes, if your company IT tracks Internet activity. It changed proxy IP in your device only, others will not face any issue. And no extra charges. No idea on Yes Mobile.

  14. Hi, any idea for downloading HK drama into iphone4? I would like to download with wifi from my workplace, and watch it when i’m without wifi or 3G connection. Have apps like Funshion, Letv, Youku, PPTV, PPS, Iqiyi but none is able to download HK drama.. =(

    Thanks for the post about watching PPStream using proxy. I am planning to get VPN for PPStream as that would be much easier for mine parent to switch on and off. But I Do have a question related to the PPStream. Do you perhaps know is they only accept China IP for the shows to show? Or will they also accept HK IP.

  27. I’m currently overseas and I’m dying to use the mytv app from TVB on my android tablet, however after using the method you provided above, both the mytv app and the TVB news app is still able to detect that I’m overseas and won’t play.

    Is there any reason for this? Got any more tips? Many thanks!
