  • Armaggeddon for this Armaggeddon MKA-61R Starling 61 Keys Bluetooth Mechanical Keyboard

Package Content & Design
Everything comes well-protected just like other Armaggeddon products. Once taken out the keyboard, you can find 2 Outemu modular blue mechanical switches, USB-C to USB-A cable, key cap puller, switch puller and user manual. By the way, you will get white USB-C cable for white model.

Build quality is excellent for the price. Solid plastic housing is what you get. Compact in size and light in weight. Ease to carry around with you no doubt. By the way, there are 2 colours to choose – black and white.

At the bottom, there are 4 anti-skid pads and Bluetooth on/off switch. It has strong grip even small in size. Do take note that it does not have height extending legs.

Have a closer look at the USB-C port and Bluetooth on/off switch.

This is the height of the keyboard. Not adjustable. But great for typing no doubt thanks to the correct height range.

Performance Result
Outemu blue mechanical switches are no stranger to me. In short, it is a great budget switch. Slightly better than OTUM and Content switches. But shy to Cherry MX and Kailh blue switches. It performs in the middle of them. And it is louder when compared to Cherry MX and Kailh blue switches. Has the lowest actuation force too. Tactile feedback is good but the other two are better. For starter, you can’t go wrong with Outemu blue switches thanks to their value price.

100% Anti-Ghosting or NKRO (N-key rollover) supported!!! Yes, you can press every key on MKA-61R and they will all be registered correctly. However, this limited to wired connection only. Bluetooth serves up to 6 keys maximum at the same time. Response is as fast as wired though.

As usual, you can also lock the Windows key to avoid accidental interruption during extreme gaming as well. And the additional keys can be accessed with Fn key. The same applies to those shortcuts. For your information, you can pair up to 3 devices through Bluetooth connection. And switch between them easily.

18 RGB backlight effects are supported. Up to 4 brightness levels to select. And can turn it off too. The animation speed can be adjusted too. As you can see, the white model does have brighter lights due to better white chassis reflection. In short, choose white model if you want much more attractive lights.
