Package Content & Design
There are Armaggeddon Nuke 11 and user manual in the package. However, there is not much info on the user guide. Anyway, just plug in and play. Then discover the buttons’ usage yourself.

Yup, it is using USB digital connection. Connect it to PC will do. Windows will install the driver for you. By the way, it is usable on Android devices with OTG support too. It has own USB DAC.

A built-in remote control to adjust volume, control LED lighting effect, mute microphone and toggle 3D surround sound effect.

Build quality is great all thanks to sturdy plastic + metal housing design. As you can see, it is using metal double headband. An over the ears headphones by the way. And comes with adjustable microphone.

Fit, Comfort & Isolation
Fit is good thanks to double headband design. Not too tight nor loose. Comfort wise is A-okay too. The thick big round ear pads help. Same apply to adjustable headband. But the headphones are on the heavy side. The thick cable with remote increase the overall weight too. Not a deal breaker once you get used to it. Average isolation for over the ears headphones as well.

Performance Result
As gaming headsets, Armaggeddon Nuke 11’s microphone performs well for the price. Others can hear me loud and clear. All thanks to adjustable design to match the optimal mic placement for you. Mic on/off switch on the remote is working perfectly fine. But you don’t know weather the mic is on or off. No light indicator for that. Do take note…

Sound quality is decent for the price. Slightly better than Armaggeddon Nuke 7 in term of treble clarity. Clear and yet still do not bring any harshness to the songs. Bass is pumping and in controlled. Not bloated like other budget headphones with too much bass. Everything sounds great but a bit let down by its soundstage. Slightly narrow and closer to your ears when compared to Nuke 7. Enabled 7.1 virtual surround sound through Windows spatial sound settings – Windows Sonic for Headphones does not help much. And using the 3D effect on remote makes it worst – sound even closer and narrower.

Forget about its weight and soundstage, Nuke 11 is a nice gaming headset to consider. Yes, enjoy lovely RGB lighting effects on all your favourite games, movie and music.
