Yeah… XDA Developer, Tytung updated his NexusHD2-Gingerbread build to version 2.6. It is a fast, stable, and clean ROM compiled from source code of AOSP Gingerbread for Nexus One (GRI40 / Android 2.3.3), optimized for HTC HD2, and released on 12 April 2011. Besides, it is using his latest Tytung R9 kernel which supports unique Bluetooth MAC address, low power mode Bluetooth and 2 way call recording. A must upgrade for NexusHD2-Gingerbread lovers…
As expected, lot of ROM chefs started to release a new version of their ROM after Bluetooth battery drain was fixed. Tytung r8.2 Kernel is the first one that I found to include this Bluetooth battery drain fix patch. And Ultimate Droid 3.1.1 v3 is using this kernel. As usual, most of the latest ROMs are using Android 2.3.3 Gingerbread. Same apply to Ultimate Droid 3.1.1. By the way, this new version is using Perspicuus Theme by Dellacorte.
HyperDroid CM7 is another build from XDA Developer, pongster. It is built from the source (CyanogenMod 7) and tweaked for performance. As usual, I changed it LCD density to 240 because I don’t like the default 167 density. This ROM is based on Android 2.3.3 Gingerbread and using Tytung r8.3 Kernel.
HyperDroidGBX (Gingerbread Xtreme Edition) is the first open-source custom ROM designed and optimized just for HTC HD2. It is cooked by XDA Developer, pongster. I was staying away from his builds all the while because of LCD Density at 167 by default. For me, all the stuffs are way too small on this density. So I changed it back to 240. By the way, this ROM is based on Android 2.3.3 Gingerbread and using Tytung r8.3 Kernel.
Yeah… First call robotic voice issue is fixed. Just tested and it really work like charm. As usual, this build is based on the Android 2.3.3 Gingerbread and using latest Tytung r9 beta Kernel. Unique Bluetooth MAC address, Bluetooth auto-reconnect and two-way call recording are also supported in this build. Besides, MIUI camera and MIUI music are added too.
