I planned to get HP Pavilion dm1-4000 Entertainment Notebook PC after dump the idea to getting Asus Transformer Prime TF201 as notebook replacement. Called more than 10 phone calls to notebook shops and could not find HP Pavilion dm1-4000 demo unit in Penang (wish to hand on before buy). Even HP itself does not know where got demo unit. End up bought Asus Eee PC 1215B netbook with the same AMD Fusion APU E450 CPU and Radeon HD 6320 GPU. Asus Eee PC 1215B netbook can be found everywhere. Yeah…
Err… My bad for not checking LCD colour. Checked for dead LCD pixel only. Never thought of Asus products can be this bad. I am Asus motherboard supporter since I started to use PC. Asus always has quality products and supports. Hmm… Did Asus calibrate Eee PC 1215B netbook LCD before ship out from factory? The LCD display is over contrast and under saturated. Maybe this is the ‘price’ that you have to pay for cheapo netbook.
Please refer to this guide – How to calibrate Asus Eee PC 1215B LCD Display?
I just bought a new ASUS G75 something or another, and the display is HORRIBLE. Turns orange into yellow mustard. TERRIBLE. They shouldn’t be able to sell this crap.
