FlipGear Tango Neo 3 comes in an interesting packaging with strap exposed outside. Once taken out the speaker, you can find micro USB charging cable and user manual.
Tango Neo 3 is a small, lightweight and portable speaker. Ease to carry around for sure with just size of a palm. Furthermore, the built-in strap helps to hang it to anywhere you prefer easily.
Build quality is great with sturdy ABS plastic housing with smooth matte touch. And fabric covers the speaker driver in front. For your information, there are black, red, grey and green colours to choose from.
All the playback buttons are located on top. Large and easy to use. And on/off switch, micro USB port, microSD slot and USB port are located at back.
At bottom, there are 2 small anti-skid pads. They provides excellent grip. But the speaker itself will fall down (front and back) easily when knocked. Do take note…
Performance Result
Outstanding Bluetooth wireless range is what you get from Vinnfier FlipGear Tango Neo 3. Easily exceeds the standard 10m Bluetooth range in straight sight line with no obstacle. And up to 8m with obstacle like wall. Furthermore, it has virtually no lag between video and audio. That’s great to use it for movie and games on your mobile devices.
4.5 hours of non-stop music playback is what I get from its 400mAh lithium battery. As usual, tests were done with average room sound level. And battery life will be shorter when play louder at maximum level. For self-charging, it takes around 40 minutes to fully charge. That’s really fast! By the way, it has battery life indicator on iOS and Android devices. Great to know when to recharge it.
Tango Neo 3 will start to play MP3 song once plugged in micro SD card or USB flash drive. Breakpoint memory feature is supported where it will continue to playback the last song and at the place that left off flash drive was ejected. As for FM radio, micro USB cable needs to be plugged in to act as external antenna. Just like smartphone, FM radio won’t work without earphones. Reception is great and clear by the way. No speakerphone test as my unit mic is not working at all.
Decent sound quality for its price. Yes, enjoy clear sound quality from Tango Neo 3. Clean treble with better bass than mobile devices’ built-in speaker. Don’t expect much bass from this tiny speaker by the way. As for loudness, it manages to blast in a large quiet room. Great for those want to enjoy better and louder sound quality while on the go.
