APN settings for Android to enable Internet & MMS

Hmm… I received lot of question on how to enable Internet and MMS on Android lately. So here is the list that I gathered from Internet. Hopefully, it will solve all of your cannot connect to Internet and send MMS issues. Okay, here are some questions that you might ask…

What is an โ€œAPNโ€?
โ€œAPNโ€ == Access Point Name. It allows you to connect to the Internet and send MMS through your phone carrier.

How to setup APN details in Android phone?

  1. Go to ‘Settings’.
  2. Then go to ‘Wireless & networks’.
  3. Continue go to ‘Mobile Networks’.
  4. Then ‘Access Point Names’
  5. Click the Menu button’
  6. Then select ‘New APN’
  7. Key in the detail that you find below.
  8. Then press the radio button to select it.
  9. That’s all.

Note – Make sure โ€˜Data enabled ~ Enable data access over Mobile networkโ€™ is checked to enable Internet access.

Let me know if anyone of them is not working. I will update it. Thanks. ๐Ÿ˜‰

      • Tq Jayce. I went to i- mobile service center and they changed the board. Now i can send and received mms. Mms port provided by digi was 9201 which don’t work at all. The support team can’t help because i-note s is not in their list. So i changed it to 80 and it works. For tunetalk APN setting i contacted support team. Found out they use celcom for their mms service.
