Do you know how do CM7 + Sense look like? Well, you can see it for yourself with BOYPPC-SHIFTPDA GINGER-SENSE_S NAND Android ROM. It combines both of the wonderful worlds into one. Basically, it is CyanogenMod 7 ROM + LauncherPro Sense UI. There are People, Bookmarks, Calendar, Messaging, Twitter, Facebook, Friends and Gmail LauncherPro Sense Widgets to choose. A nice combination for those wants HTC Sense look and CM7 performance.
Hmm… I failed to install the clean version. So that I tried the full version which use 158 MB partition layout. Do remember to flash this if you are using 150 MB partition layout previously.

Does this have the Internet Pass-through (a.k.a reverse USB tethering) that the ROMs with HTC sense come with? My WiFi is broken and I use this to download Market apps using my Laptop’s WiFi.
Nope, I can’t find anywhere to enable it. Or maybe it is just me that cannot find.
Hi Jayce Ooi’s Paradise,
I was install android nand on my htc hd2 but it used too much bettery. I needs to charge my phone 2 times in a day. So is there any version available for solve that problem?
Hmm… I don’t have battery issue with this ROM. Maybe you can try out other Android ROM see – https://www.jayceooi.com/2011/03/28/top-4-android-2-3-3-gingerbread-nand-android-roms-for-htc-hd2/
Hey when I enter bootloader is gives me NAND yaffs2 boot mount failed
I have htc hd2 (t-mobile)
I installed everything that was required
Before I used TyphooN CyanogenMod 7 RC4 and worked perfectly but im trying to install BOYPPC-SHIFTPDA GINGER-SENSE_S on HTC HD2 because it looks cool.
Any suggestions?
Oh also i formatted my mobile device and installed everything again but still gives me the same problem “NAND yaffs2 boot mount failed”
Nvm it seems my MAGLDR v1.11 doesn’t support the DAF that you recommended.
Need v1.13 or greater 🙁 Can you give me a downloadl link so I can upgrade my MAGLDR?
This ROM is CWM format not DAF. You need to install ClockworkMod Recovery first before install Android ROM.
Alright, one more thing after i finished installing when it boots it gets stuck on a HTC logo with black background. Or when I install anything else it gets stuck on a blue android mod figure. What can i do?
For DAF builds, delete everything created by Android on your SD card.
For CWM builds, wipe data and cache. https://www.jayceooi.com/2011/04/20/how-to-wipe-data-cache-with-clockworkmod-recovery-on-htc-hd2/
Do this before install new Android ROM. Of course, you need to have all the prerequisites components installed properly first.
If you have done all of these, then you have installed a bad Android ROM. Try another one.
Lol i basically installed like 5 different Android ROM and all gave me the same problems but ill give it another try and if I still get the same problem well ill retry everything again from the start.
Now it just doesn’t want to load any Android.
What i have:
HTC HD2 (T mobile)
SPL-2.08.HSPL 8G
Radio 2.15.50.14
aMAGLDR V1.11
ClockworkMod Recovery v3.0.05
you should refer to xda-developers.com they will give step by step noob instructions for daf and cwm flashing.
im planning to install this NAND. but while installing the MAGDLR 1.13, the ROM image version asks for changing from v3.14 to v2.00?? is this fine?
I forgot the exact version number of MAGLDR. But it should be fine as long as your have all the prerequisites installed.
Hi!
Loved this but soon started problem of Force Close (android process.process.media) with all my attmepts when I could not come out of this I did hardreset and reloded ROM. And now I can not install any apps from market (I can download and as soon as it starts getting installed it shows installation unsuccessful).

Regards,
Try to wipe data and cache then install back this Android ROM again.
Hi!
I am quite satisfied using BOYPPC-SHIFTPDA rom…but now want a give a try to something still more encouraging. Can you help me in following two things…
1. Suggessting a still better rom (one I am using is great)
2. Steps to cahnge ROM using CW recovery
Regards,
Rajesh
1. This ROM is one of the best.
2. Wipe data – https://www.jayceooi.com/2011/04/20/how-to-wipe-data-cache-with-clockworkmod-recovery-on-htc-hd2/. Then install Android zip like normal process.
I agree. I am now using the HoneyComb v19.
This is the fastest and smoothest. Also i like the MIUI music player. Very cool and can display the lyrics.
Jayce, what is your daily ROM now?
Frankly I am too thrilled…and that’s why “Ye Dill Mange More” Hindi Proverb (Your heart always ask for MORE).
Anyways …what is Hineycomb v19….any link
Regards,
Honeycomb V19 is based on Gingerbread 2.3.3. Click on the same link to BoyPPC. He has few version that he developed.
Now, he has a new link
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=13458657#post13458657
It is now V20.
Thanks, I have downloaded the ROM from the link and planning to upgrade from my existing V16 to V20.
Any special steps to follow like what Jayce indicated of wiping data and cache?
Regards,
ARjesh
I will suggest that you use CWM to make a backup of your existing V16, in case anything mess-up. If you not sure how, check out Jayce’s website.
If you upgrade on the similar BoyPPC, actually no need to wipe data, etc. I did not do that so that when i upgrade, all my previous data/apps/contacts is still intact.
Worse case, restore back your V16 using CWM and you can re-test again 🙂
No permanent daily ROM for the moment. I swap between few ROMs. Testing to select the best as permanent daily ROM. 🙂
Thanks,
Regards,
Rajesh Gupta
My previous backup is based on CWM 150M. If i try this 158M, when i restore back my old 150M backup, do you thinki need to reflash back CWM150M or i can remain as CWM 158M?
This frequent changes of CWM is what put me off from trying other build, hehe.
You can leave it as 158MB. Bigger is okay but not smaller.
Hi Jayce, how can i check if my current CWM is 150 or 158?
tks
Good question. But I also don’t know. Just repartition it again if you forgot.
the facebook widet of the launcherpro is not working??
any idea if a fix is available?
else think this is one of the most beautiful android build for HD2 till date
Try to use the latest build from XDA website. See that fix Facebook issue or not.
I had install Install NAND Android on HTC HD2 with ClockworkMod Recovery with JawsNandRec1.1.zip file. How to I upgrade into Android 2.3.3?
Installation is the same as JawsNand. But you need to wipe data and cache before install this ROM. https://www.jayceooi.com/2011/04/20/how-to-wipe-data-cache-with-clockworkmod-recovery-on-htc-hd2/
I had install my htc hd2 into BOYPPC-SHIFTPDA GINGER 2.3.3 v19. I found that my avail memory is 159MB only. Why is different from what u show in the website? By the way, I also cant find any zip file in your link Download BOYPPC-SHIFTPDA GINGER-SENSE_S v16 [Kernel: Tytung r9] NAND A2SD+ Zip ROM here.
I am using 158 MB ClockworkMod Recovery partition. Do you install that? And the GINGER-SENSE_S v16 download link in the post is still working (just tested).
Hi, I’m install the clockwork recovery partition v1.2 that u post before.
is that everytime i need to install clockworkmod recovery when i upgrade from JawsNandRec1.1.zip file to BOYPPC-SHIFTPDA GINGER 2.3.3 v19?
Can i install clockwork mod recovery v1.3 400MB for BOYPPC-SHIFTPDA GINGER 2.3.3 v19?
No need to use bigger partition size if Android ROM does not require it.
No. Unless to be installed Android ROM requires bigger CWM partition size than your existing.
CWM v1.2 use 250MB system partition. Therefore, you have lesser user storage space.
so i can just put the 158 partition zip like how you put any other android zip and it will show up in my ClockworkMod Recovery partition???
like when i go to set the partition
Yes, if I understand you correctly. 😉
lols um did i install this right everything looks ok but my home screen where it has the apps , phone . and web , its missing the back of it its kinda hard to explain lol did i install right ??
Sorry, I don’t quite understand your question. Which one do you want to install?
hey jayce
i flashed this rom with (cwr clean) version. i created ext 3 partition but both my files were missing initrd and zimage after i created partition without it my rom started giving force close error the moment it was started . so i copied both file on my sd card again and it worked fine. now i want to flash its honey comb version so i copied that rom on sd card and boot in to magldr . when i go to 8th option ad recovery it does not load the clock thing instead it gives msg boot file missing.
please help me what is wrong. how to flash the other rom what am i doing wrong.
You should use ‘Boot AD SD’.
thank you jayce . really thank you. you mean that i copy the .zip nand rom and then boot from boot ad sd. no need to create ext 3 or some thing like that.
will it be still a nand rom becoz when i used to use the zip rom (the one that you press clr and heret ) my hd2 temperature really goes high specially from the sd card area. this is what i experience.
please also let me know that if i put 2 .zip roms in my sd both nand and go through boot ad sd , will it flash the previous rom or how to go about it.
sorry for being a big trouble to you
