Celcom Broadband Mobile Internet Review

I started to use Celcom Broadband since I got my very first smartphone ~ HTC HD2. That was Celcom Broadband Basic with 384kbps. Got upgraded to 512kbps after few months. Then I downgraded to Celcom Broadband Entry on Voice with 384kbps connection speed only but cheaper price. Then it changed name to Celcom Broadband mBasic. And once again speed was upgraded to 700kbps.

Celcom Broadband Mobile Internet is my backup Internet access at home and primary when on the road. There are 4 Celcom Broadband Mobile Internet Plans currently ~ Celcom Broadband mLite, Celcom Broadband mBasic, Celcom Broadband mAdvance and Celcom Broadband mPro. All of them have the same connection speed at 3600kbps but have different bandwidth volume and price. Once again, I changed to the cheapest plan as I want to get 3.6 Mbps connection speed compare to 700kbps on old plan. How is the Celcom Broadband Mobile Internet performance? Let’s find out…

Wow… I am taking video more than SLR photo now. And I almost forgot that Canon has a great tool ~ Digital Photo Professional was upgraded to version 3.11.26 for both Windows and Mac OS X. Basically, DPP 3.11.26 added support for new camera like EOS 5D Mark III, EOS-1D X and new lenses such as EF24mm F2.8 IS USM, EF28mm F2.8 IS USM, EF24-70mm F2.8L II USM, EF500mm F4L IS II USM and EF600mm F4L IS II USM. HTC One X is too hot to handle. Yeah… Just like the new iPad. They share the very same ‘hot’ issue. HTC One X suffers overheating issue on its NVIDIA quad-core Tegra 3 and 720p HD Super LCD2 IPS display screen. HTC One X overheating issue

Yup, HTC One X battery temperature went up to 53.5 °C after played 3D games for just 20 minutes. For you information, HTC One X battery temperature is around 34 °C during standby. HTC One X overheats easily when playing 3D games. I knew that playing 3D games will overheat as NVIDIA quad-core Tegra 3 CPU and GPU are working hard. But was not expecting battery temperature will go up as high as 53.5 °C.

By the way, HTC One X battery temperature easily goes above 40 °C on normal usage like taking shot with camera, watch video clips and listen to MP3. And up to 45 °C when browse Internet with Wi-Fi connection. A ‘hot’ product from HTC indeed…
