PIKOM PC Fair 2008 is held at several places in Malaysia. The one that I visited is located at PISA, Penang. Wow… PIKOM PC Fair… The last time I visited PIKOM PC Fair at PISA, Penang was back in 4 or 5 years back. Why I did not visit PIKOM PC Fair lately? I was cheated by Mega Online on the last visit. The price given at PC Fair is more expensive than normal period. Besides, there was nothing special to see at PIKOM PC Fair at PISA, Penang. I long to visit PIKOM PC Fair at Kuala Lumpur. It is bigger and has a lot of stuffs to see. However, this visit changed my mind… How? Why? What?

TFT LCD vs OLED ~ Which one to choose?

Looking a new mobile phone make me to study lot of new stuffs. There is another new display technology (to me) called organic light emitting diode (OLED). The widely common use now is thin film transistor (TFT) LCD technology. Most of the LCD monitor is using this TFT LCD like my Dell UltraSharp U2410 which use H-IPS panel. Each of the display technology has it own advantages and disadvantages. So choose wisely.

I brought Corsair Twin2X4096-6400C4DHX 4GB DDR2 memory modules even my friend, Bernie told me that heat sinks on memory do nothing except for showing off. But I still can’t hold myself to get Corsair Twin2X4096-6400C4DHX 4GB DDR2 memory modules. I really want to test it. Does the heat sink will help to improve performance or not?

Enable Authenticated users list at AWStats

AWStats is a free powerful and featureful tool that generates advanced web, streaming, ftp or mail server statistics, graphically. I have using it lately to track web usage by loading data from the web log files. However, it does not show authenticated users which I wanted. I searched at AWStats website and found out that Authenticated users list is part of the features. And the demo have Authenticated users list too. Hmm… What should I do to turn Authenticated users list on?

Thunder English, XunLei English 5 language pack installation guide. Yup, I have Thunder English Language Pack (XunLei English) already. But I don’t have a guide to install it. No worry, here come the Thunder English, XunLei English 5 language pack installation guide.

How to install Thunder English, Xunlei English 5 language pack:
1. Download 迅雷 (XunLei) Thunder 5 English Language Pack first.
2. Copy it to Thunder language folder. (Eg. C:\Program Files\Thunder Network\Thunder\Languages).
3. Start Thunder (XunLei).
4. Click the third option, ??(V).
5. Then Language and select English(US).
6. That’s it, no more steps.
