Performance Results
The maximum video quality bit rate that iToolSoft HD Video Converter can support is 20Mbps. I took 2 video clips ~ 1920×1080 50p 28Mbps (50fps) and 1920×1080 50i 17Mbps (25fps) format to test. Both of them are coming from Panasonic HDC-SD700 HD Camcorder.

Source (m2ts)
1920×1080 50p 28Mbps (50fps) – 20100802_155253.zip (87.1 MB)
1920×1080 50i 17Mbps (25fps) – 20100801_194823.zip (29.54 MB)

Output (mp4)
1920×1080 50p 20Mbps (50fps) – 20100802_155253.m2ts.mp4 (71.88 MB)
1920×1080 25p 20Mbps (25fps) – 20100801_194823.m2ts.mp4 (23.88 MB)

1920×1080 50p 28Mbps
1920×1080 50i 17Mbps

It is easy to convert m2ts videos into Full HD H264 MPEG-4 AVC format. Just follow its online guide and you are ready to go. It took around 4 minutes 30 seconds to convert 30 seconds 50p video. And 1 minute 20 seconds on 25fps 50i video. Download above video outputs and play it with free Full HD player to see the video quality.

However, there are lot of issues that I found. No Real Media input format support. Ability to extract audio is not found. Create video clip from photos and segmentation failed (as above screen shot). Does not fully utilize quad-core CPU (only 30% usage when converting).

Conclusion
iToolSoft HD Video Converter is a so so video converter. It does its job but slow. And missing some promised features. Want to try it yourself? Download iToolSoft HD Video Converter at iToolSoft Website.
