Canon Speedlite 580EX II Flash Review… I should come out Canon Speedlite 580EX II Flash Review for a very long time ago. I have been using Canon Speedlite 580EX II Flash for more than 1 year. It is the most powerful flash from Canon for the moment. However, you have to pay the price because it is heavy.
This is Canon’s first weather-resistant flash. However, it does not mean much to me because I am using Canon EOS 400D SLR which does not have weather-resistant feature. However, it will be a good partner with Canon top line SLR like 1Ds, 1D series. Besides, it has AF-Assist Beam to enhance autofocus performance in low light conditions. It provides up to 45 AF points. Too bad that I only use 9 out of 45 with my 400D.
