  1. THANK YOU SOO MUCH. I tried using the driver that came with the KFU and had no luck, then I checked out your video and used your links…everything worked like a charm. Thanks again for your help

  2. Hi Jayce, I have KFU and have used it to root my Kindle Fire. The problem I keep having is when trying to run TWRP. Following all directions but device keeps getting stuck at “Kindle Fire”..no TWRP reboot showing up on Kindle and no yellow triangle. Advice?

  3. I used Kinle Fire Utility to install TWRP 2.0. Everything seemed to work fine, I got to the reboot screen and I pressed the reboot button like it told me to. It then took me to this triangle with a fire symbol in it. It says “press power button for recovery”. I press the power button, nothing happens except my KF turns off, but I have to hold the button in for a while for it to turn off.

How do I get out of this problem, I thought everything went fine.

  4. It gets stuck at the part where it says the kindle has been told to reboot in fast boot mode but the kindle is still at the screen where it always is when I connect it to the computer… it never turned off… and the run.bat still says I have not yet seen the triangle fire thing. (Also, is there an official support thread somewhere? or is this it?)

  5. Anyone know if Kindle Fire Utility & TWRP recovery work after root 6.2.2 (I used both Kindle Fire Utility TWRP) when I was on 6.2.1 when 6.2.2 updated I have not seen any talk how to add back the Kindle Fire Utility & TWRP…

I am rooted and full access no Kindle Fire Utility or TWRP recovery work?

  6. I’m 6.2.2 rooted succesfully and when i run kindle fire utility, hit 5,

    it says
    recovery.img is missing.
So we will download it for you!

  7. Hello, I’m guessing that my Kindle is stuck in fastboot mode since my computer does not recognize my Kindle Fire. This occured during the “Selecting Normal Bootmode please wait…” part of the installation of TWRP. I attempted to install drivers using “install_drivers.bat” so that my computer can recognize fastboot mode but I can’t, install_drivers.bat fails every time. I’m stuck on the yellow triangle screen.

  8. I’m having the same problem as above.

Whenever I try using the utility, press #5; it keeps giving me an error: device offline.

I have the kf powered and connected to pc. Iv’e tried to manually download twrp, but that doesnt work either.

Any help would be very appreciated. I’m a newbie.

    Thanks.

  9. Another thing I noticed when I run the utility is that my boot status is always unknown. I’m not sure if that makes a difference.

  10. when i try to install twap it goes straight to the yellow triangle and hangs there. i never see the reboot button in twrp. please help me
