Skyfire ~ the only mobile browser that supports full Flash

[pull_quote_center]Skyfire is the only mobile browser that supports full Flash and Windows Media videos, including Flash 10 and Silverlight 2.0. You can even watch TV on your phone![/pull_quote_center]

Quote that I took from Skyfire website… Well, this is not true anymore after Nokia N900 with Maemo 5 OS and using Mozilla-based web browser with Adobe Flash 9.4 support came out. But for those who have mobile phone like me ~ HTC HD2 which still using Windows Mobile 6.5 or Nokia S60 3rd Edition & 5th Edition (Beta). Skyfire is the only full Flash browser for you.

Before I bought HTC HD2, I thought Skyfire will save the day of full Flash on mobile device. I was wrong. Yes, Skyfire does support full Flash but in another method ~ by rendering requested web pages on a Skyfire own server using the Gecko rendering engine before sending the rendered output to the your mobile browser. And the image quality looks bad due to that. But at least you have so called full Flash experience.

I tested the most important Flash application that my girl friend need, Restaurant City in Facebook. Yup, it requires full Flash support and cannot be rendered with Flash Lite. So Skyfire is the only choice. Out of 10 times of testing, I managed to load the game once. The rest of the times ~ stuck at the loading stage. 🙁 Even I managed to load it, the page was rendered in slow motion. Hmm… I wish that Adobe can come out Flash Player 10.1 now. Check out below video on HTC HD2 and Google Nexus One Flash Player 10.1 prerelease demo from Open Screen Project. That’s what I called full Flash experience.

Flash… Flash… Flash… You need broadband connection first before seeing any Flash content on your browser. I know a place that offers great broadband packages ~ Celcom Sale (www.celcom.com.my/broadband). The sales will last until 31 March 2010 only. Don’t miss the chance to grab goodies like free USB modem, Netbook at super low price ~ RM888, Wireless Gateway for only RM350 and other more… Wait no more and visit Celcom branch, Blue Cube or dealer near you to get them now.
