I always use Voodoo OTA RootKeeper as a temporary unroot tool for my Samsung Galaxy S2, S3 and Kindle Fire. Why? OTA RootKeeper will not make root survive OTA on these Android devices. However, I have Google Nexus 7 now. And it is just like other Nexus devices – Nexus S, Galaxy Nexus… It should be able to use Voodoo OTA RootKeeper to protect root access and survive OTA update. But I still have no chance to test it out yet…
