Package Content & Design
HyperBar U10 comes in a small yet long package. There are U10 soundbar and a simple user manual. That’s all.
Basically, you just need to plug in the green AUX cable for audio and USB cable for power. You are ready to use U10 then.
Build quality is decent for the price. Sturdy plastic housing is what you get. The front speaker grill is plastic by the way. Light in weight and small in size. And the main volume control is also the power on/off switch. LED light will be turned on when powered on.
At the bottom, there are 2 soft anti-skid pads. And 2 small holes at the back.
Performance Result
HyperBar U10 is good enough to use in a quiet large room. 12W pure power output (RMS) is able to do so. Personally, I never go over 75% volume level when putting U10 in front of the desk (below the PC monitor). And it does the job well.
Bright sound signature is what you get from HyperBar U10. In short, it’s all about treble. The bass is hardly there as the 2″ drivers are tuned toward treble focus. But it is great for those who love to have clear and clean sound output. It is definitely not for basshead. That’s for sure. Do take note. Sound quality wise is decent for the price. What you pay are what you get. No surprise here.
