HTC One vs Samsung Galaxy S4. Which one will survive in year 2013? Well, HTC One X lost the battle with Samsung Galaxy S3 last year. Faced lot of issues on my HTC One X. I was hoping that HTC One X can perform better than my legendary HTC HD2. I put too much hope on HTC One X and it failed terribly. On the other hand, Samsung Galaxy S3 is a developer friendly device. And I do not face issue on both software and hardware. So does it mean that Galaxy S4 will win this year too? Time will tell…
GLaDOS Kernel for Google Nexus 7 is based on stock Android kernel Jelly Bean 4.2.2 JDQ39. And it is optimized to run best at the default options. So there is no need to change options manually (but you still can change them if you want). It does not support CPU overclocking but can undervolt CPU and overclock Tegra 3 GPU. Support NTFS read / write mode. And tweaks here and there.

Yes, XDA Developer, franciscofranco does not like to overclock CPU so you won’t see CPU overclocking ability on his kernel for Nexus devices. But his kernel is famous of stability, better performance and good battery life. And have other goodies like tweaked ramdisk, boosted IO speed, removed debug mode, CPU undervolting, GPU overclocking… By the way, franco Kernel for Nexus 7 should work on stock Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and CyanogenMod 10.1 ROM.
