How to disable HTC HD2 3G data connection?

I bought HTC HD2 due to its large screen and browsing Internet is the primary usage. Therefore, I subscribe to unlimited 3G data plan. However, not every HTC HD2 owners do the same. They might need to connect to Internet once in a while. And lot of applications like weather, tweeter, email, stock in HTC HD2 need connect to Internet for update. They might connect without your notice and being charged with expensive 3G data rate. I used up RM15 Hotlink prepaid in 2 minutes when my WiFi connection stop working and HTC HD2 connected using 3G by itself.

How to disable HTC HD2 3G data connection? It is as simple as ABC. Just install BsB Tweaks v1.6. Launch it and go to Menu -> Data Connection -> Disabled. It will not automatically connect to Internet even WiFi connection is not found.

There is a new version of Swype for HTC HD2 floating around the Internet now. Some said that this version 3.9.10.10.5032 was extracted from the leak T-Mobile USA HTC HD2 ROM. It was redesigned to suite HTC HD2 and has bigger soft keypads.

Touch X Bluetooth toggle cab as quicklink

Whenever I use Microsoft ActiveSync or Windows Mobile Device Center to sync my HTC HD2 with PC, I always wish that I don’t need to click so many time to turn on the Bluetooth and turn it off after use. I have the link to HTC Sense 2.5 tweaks & mods last month. But I did not manage to find this due to too much good stuff there. Finally, I installed Touch X Bluetooth toggle cab. It will be installed as shortcut in Start menu. And I put it as one of the quicklinks. Just 1 click to turn on and off the Bluetooth now.

Windows default Today screen is not so popular. Therefore, lot of OEM came out their own Today screen like HTC Sense and Samsung TouchWiz. And here come another one called ~ ThrottleLauncher. It is a fully skinable app you can use to completely change the look of your Windows Mobile phone. It also supports themes and widgets. So you can change lot of looks. A great application for those doesn’t have HTC or Samsung phones.

Yes, the wait is over. The famous Manila (Sense) 2.5 Home Tab modification had a new release. I have been waiting for Co0kie’s Home Tab v1.7.1 release after Co0kie’s Home Tab v1.7.0 was released last week. There is lot of interesting enhancements in v1.7.0. However, it also has several bugs that bother me to post it last week. But they are gone with v1.7.1 release. Therefore, all of you must install this version now. You will love it like I do.
