Google latest gadget ~ Google Buzz comes to Google Maps for Mobile 4.0. It is currently fully supported for Android 2.0+. And Buzz Layer on Google Maps for mobile for other mobile platform except BlackBerry. I am not a big fan of Google Maps because Malaysia maps are not detail enough (at my small hometown Sungai Petani) and slow updated. You still can get high level detail but just not detail enough for me like US or Singapore maps which you can see cars and people from the satellite view. Yeah… That’s what I call maps. But when will it comes to Malaysia?

How to install non-Market .apk apps on Android?

Most of the Android applications can be found at Android Market. However, some of them are not in there. They are offered at other website for download. Android application is coming with .apk file type while Microsoft Windows Mobile with .cab file type. In order to non-Market .apk application on Android, you need to enable ‘Unknown sources ~ Allow installation of non-Market applications’ in Applications at Setting. Just tick on it and you can install non-Market application right now. Else, you will get ‘Install blocked’ message pop up.

Android 2.2 Froyo… My head is full of Android 2.2 Froyo now. Forget about Windows Phone 7 support on HTC HD2. In order to have Android 2.2 Froyo HTC Desire ROM on HTC HD2, we need to flash HardSPL3 on HTC HD2. Then flash newer HTC HD2 Radio ROM with CustomRUU. And install any Android ROM that suite you.
