Samsung Galaxy S4 to have more internal user storage

My 16GB Samsung Galaxy S4 GT-I9500 has only 8.82 GB of usable user storage compare to Galaxy S3 with 11.25 GB. That’s 2.43 GB less. Can Samsung really increase user storage size for Galaxy S4? Yes, if Samsung decides to repartition Galaxy S4 storage structure. But will that affect overall performance. Let’s find out.

Samsung Galaxy S4 overheat issue

Some readers said that I am pro Samsung devices and hate HTC devices. Well, I am not in favour to any brand (FYI, I love my legendary HTC HD2, no smartphone can beat it). Neither Samsung nor HTC pay me to write. No free goodies from them too. I am just telling the truth and nothing but the truth. Yes, my Samsung Galaxy S4 GT-I9500 overheats. Luckily, not as hot as HTC One X (HTC One X auto shutdown when battery temp reaches 70 °C. Yes, it can overheat up to 70 °C). But still consider hot instead of warm especially on top part of the phone where all the heavy duty chips are located there.

Test all Samsung Galaxy S4 hardware functions before buy it

Always test Samsung Android devices before buy it (only valid for shop purchase though). Yes, this applies to Samsung flagship Galaxy S4 too. Samsung makes a great tool for them to check the hardware quality at test development stage. And you can use it to test too. The application is called FactoryKeystring. Basically, it covers all the hardware function tests for Galaxy S4. You can check 1080p Full HD Super AMOLED screen with Red, Green, Blue, Receiver (white) and Vibration (black) colour. Make sure that there is no dead or bright pixel. That’s the first thing I will do. I really hate dead pixel as it is very annoying. There are other tests like Dimming, Touch and TSP Hovering to test the screen function as well. Front and back camera can be tested with Mega cam and Front cam. Both speakers’ tests are included too. Sleep, Sub key, LED, IR LED, LOW FREQUENCY, Barcode Emulator and SensorHub Test are the rest of the tests. Test all of them if you can.

How to check Galaxy S4 CPU temperature?

How to check Samsung Galaxy S4 CPU temperature? A simple question but no easy answer. So far I can’t find any Android application at Google Play Store that can display Galaxy S4 GT-I9500 CPU temperature. All of them are displaying battery temperature instead. This is not what I want. Luckily, I discovered that Samsung has its own application to do so. Not so user friendly but it does the job ~ show Galaxy S4 CPU temp. It is able to show Exynos 5 Octa CPU temp. It should work for GT-I9505 Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 too.
