Like all other Samsung Galaxy Devices, Samsung Galaxy Note II has PDA, PHONE and CSC too. PDA is build version of the firmware, PHONE is baseband / modem version and CSC is consumer software customization which specified to geographical region and carriers. CSC contains the software packages specific to particular region, carrier branding and also APN settings for data connection, MMS for service provider. You can change to other CSC if your firmware has multi CSC packages.

Note – By changing CSC will factory reset your Galaxy Note 2. All applications and data will be deleted. Make sure that you make backup before do so.

Note – overclock will reduce Qualcomm APQ8064 CPU, Adreno 320 GPU and other hardware components lifespan because it will overheat easily. Do it at your own risk.

How to enable USB mass storage on Galaxy S4?

Yes, you can enable USB mass storage on Samsung Galaxy S4 (GT-I9500, GT-I9505, SGH-I747M, SGH-M919 and SGH-I337) now. Thanks to SG USB Mass Storage Enabler. Just like SGS3 Easy UMS application, it supports external micro SD card as USB mass storage only (can’t mount internal storage). Furthermore, it supports exFAT partition too (FAT32 definitely will work then). Working great on my 64GB Samsung microSDXC Pro UHS-1 Card. As expected, read and write speed from USB mass storage won’t be as fast as card reader due to Galaxy S4 does not support UHS-I standard. Note – root access is needed.

Tune Samsung Galaxy Note 3 screen colour is one of the to do list. Yes, Galaxy Note 3 Full HD Super AMOLED is using PenTile format just like Galaxy S4. However, this latest HD Super AMOLED screen is gorgeous thanks to higher resolution. You can’t really see individual pixel with your naked eyes. However, it still has the very same problem since 1st gen AMOLED screen – oversaturated colour. Samsung added several new screen mode just like Galaxy S4 since basically they are using the same generation AMOLED technology. Yes, you can use it to solve oversaturated colour issue.

How to solve fail to send SMS issue on Redmi 1S?

I promoted Xiaomi smartphone as very good and stable because of long years MIUI ROM development. However, I was wrong about this when I discovered factory data reset bug on Redmi 1S. And then another bug occurs when my mom use it ~ fail to send SMS issue. This SMS bug does not occur every time. It will fail to send SMS when contact number area code is missing. Example, from +60-12-1234567 to 12-1234567 only. You won’t face any issue when it has the full number with area code. Does Xiaomi Mi 3 or Redmi Note also have this SMS bug?
