Samsung Galaxy S III is equipped with ARM Mali-400 MP GPU (overclocked version of Samsung Galaxy S II). So Samsung Galaxy S3 can play Tegra, Snapdragon and PowerVR games with Chainfire3D’s help just like Samsung Galaxy S2. However, Chainfire3D was not updated for quite sometimes. So it does not support the latest NVIDIA Tegra 3 games. Or maybe it does? Anyway, if you have old Tegra 2, Snapdragon and PowerVR games and want to play them on Samsung Galaxy S3. Feel free to install Chainfire3D on Samsung Galaxy S3. Note – root access is required.

How to improve Google Nexus 7 GPS performance? Yes, I am glad that I can ask this question on my Nexus 7 because it has GPS feature unlike Amazon Kindle Fire. I can have big 7″ GPS device on my car now. However, Nexus 7 GPS performance and signal may not be as good as Samsung Galaxy S III which has both GPS and GLONASS. But you still can make Nexus 7 GPS signal lock faster with little of this free Android application ~ FasterFix. Note – root access is required.

Besides getting Android applications and games from Google Play Store, you can get 3rd party Android applications from Internet (example, XDA Forum). All of them are in apk file format. Same apply to applications and games that backup with ES File Explorer. You will get “Install blocked ~ For security, your phone is set to block installation of applications not obtained from Google Play” when try to install them. For those who are using faster bin Nexus 4 CPU, you are very lucky because your nexus 4 Qualcomm APQ8064 CPU is undervolt by default and use lesser battery (compare to Slow, Nominal and Fast). You can undervolt it further if you want to get even better battery life. Besides, it will help to generate less heat too. However, custom kernel that support CPU undervolting is required.
